Ingredients
Aru nellikai ( gooseberry ) : ¼ kilo
Cumin : 2 spoon
Peppercorns : ½ spoon
Sukku ( dry ginger ) : 50 gm
Asafoetida : a little
Salt : as needed
Method
Dry the nellikai ( gooseberry ) in the sun.
Grind nellikai ( gooseberry ), cumin, asafoetida, sukku, peppercorns and salt in a mixie.
Nellikai podi can be eaten with rice and ghee.
