Nourishing herbal hair oil prepared using Brahmi/Thyme shaped Gratiola leaves and Indian Gooseberries.
Brahmi Amla Hair Oil

Mateirals Required:
1 Cup Yellu enne/Til/Sesame Seeds Oil
12 Bettadanellikayi/Amla/Indian Gooseberries
2 bunches Brahmi/Thyme shaped Gratiola leaves

Method:
Chop Gooseberries into small pieces and remove the seeds and grind the pieces in the blender along with a cup of water and extract the juice.  Similarly wash Brahmi  leaves and grind in the blender along with a cup of water and extract the juice.

In a thick-bottomed pan mix Oil, Gooseberry and Brahmi juice and let it boil for 10 minutes stirring constantly.  Keep the flame at medium or low.  The water in the Oil should evaporate completely. This Amla oil is one of the better hair oil for dandruff.

To check if the Oil preparation is completed, dip a stick in the Oil and light it up.  The stick should light up without making a crackling sound.

P.S.: It is good to preserve the oil in cool condition for 15 days before using
